"CAKE BOX" lunch
VaLa Catering has created a delectable menu of box lunches for Chauvet guests to choose from. The beautiful presentation and delicious selections featuring local, organic, seasonal foods will add a special touch to your wine country meanderings.
All lunches come in a box adorned with fresh flowers. Lunches are plated on chinet plates with sturdy utensils wrapped in a napkin and tied with ribbon.
Price per person - $20.00
Chicken
Free range organic chicken breast, marinated in fresh herbs from our garden, served on an Artisan roll with our house made fresh basil aioli, local artisan cheese, organic tomatoes and lettuce.
Roast Beef
Beef tenderloin or New York strip roast is grilled to perfection. Our tender. moist and flavorful beef is thinly sliced and served on an Artisan roll with house made horseradish sauce, cheddar cheese, organic tomatoes and lettuce.
Vegetarian
Grilled Portobello mushrooms, roasted peppers and sweet onions on an Artisan roll with our house made hummus and local cheese.
Prawn Salad
Grilled prawns sit atop a julienne of Napa cabbage, radishes, jicama, carrots and snow peas that are tossed with our special house made Asian dressing and topped with crispy wontons.
All lunches include:
- Parmesan cup filled with baby field greens and a house made seasonal vinaigrette
- Seasonal salad with the best organic produce
- Pine nut almond crust tart with either sabayon or French pastry cream and fresh seasonal fruit
