This traditional Scandinavian dish is made from Scottish salmon which is first caressed with Linie akvavit, marinated with a salt/sugar/herb rub, then laid to rest for several days on a bed of fresh dill.
The gravlaks is sliced very thinly, garnished with a delectable mustard sauce and served on dark rye crackers or bread with English cucumbers and lemon slices.
